A Good Book?

I've found myself lately looking for a good book to sit back and dive into. I read quite a bit, most of it is technology and other news online. I've been slowly working on Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It's an intriguing book. Good enough so far that I don't want to stop reading, but deep and/or slow enough that it doesn't quite keep me riveted and has put me to sleep a few times. I was looking for ideas for a book that would give me a little respite from other reading and came across The Picture of Dorian Gray (which happens to be freely available at www.gutenberg.org). Since I only have the digital copy I put it on my phone and am a couple of chapters in so far. It's interesting and I'm curious where it's going to go. I originally heard about it in A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which introduced the idea of what the book is about but didn't give many details. I didn't think much of it until I ran across it the other day. I guess we'll see how it turns out in a few days.
In the meantime, are there any good books that you would recommend? Leave a comment and let me know.
On other fronts in my life, the kids are a handful but so fun. William continually amazes us with his expressions, both of curiosity while he's figuring things out and of pure joy when he's having fun. Abby is cute when she drifts off into her own little world, dancing and singing. She's a little distracted in just about everything she does, often not paying attention as she goes down the hall and running into the wall or other stationary objects. Go figure. Alex is getting fat. The more he grows the more he looks like both Abby and William at the same time. I think Shauna gets a little frustrated sometimes when she can't get him to burp, hands him over to me, and I quickly get him to burp. What else can I say, I love my family!
Maybe it's just me but now that we have 3 kids my family is all of a sudden a big family. That's not to say we can even start to compare with some much larger families, but we're not small anymore. Maybe it's the fact that the kids outnumber us, maybe it's that we are busting out of the seams of our little Mazda (We have about 3/4" to spare with the doors closed and 3 carseats in the back). Put a stroller or two in the back and we're at capacity. We're considering getting a van but are a bit anxious over how affordable that will be. I'm sure we're at or above the cost of a new van with the repairs that we've had the last couple of years.
The weather warmed up enough for a couple of days that I got a motorcycle ride in yesterday. That was nice. I was also happy to have the bike start up on the first try. Last year the battery went dead so this was a bit of relief. I've been better about keeping it charged and covering the bike this year so I think that helped along with the new battery last spring. It was a little chilly but nice to get out. I've been in the mood to head to southern Utah on it to see some different country. It's beautiful down there and it's been a few years since I went. I think I need to get a small tent so I can.
